Accounts & signing in

When you need an account

You only need an account when you use Cloud storage. With This Device or Browser storage, the app works with no sign-in at all.

Creating an account / signing in

When the app is set to Cloud storage and you're not signed in, you'll see a Login / Sign-up screen on launch:

• Sign up with your email to create a new account.
• Sign in to return to your existing data.

Once signed in, the bottom navigation appears and your cloud data loads.

Signing out

Sign out from Settings. Signing out returns you to the login screen; your cloud data stays safely in your account for next time.

Switching between local and cloud

The storage mode is chosen in Settings → System. If you switch to Cloud and have local data you'd like to keep, see Import & demo data before you start fresh in the cloud.
